8x during the CSA you’ll receive a special selection of two Shepherd’s Way Farms farmstead sheep cheeses to complement your CSA. Chosen by cheesemaker Jodi, your cheeses will include Shepherd’s Way favorites Big Woods Blue, Friesago, Shepherd’s Hope, Hidden Falls along with harder-to-find and seasonal cheeses Morcella, Sogn and others. Includes notes about the farm and the cheeses, pairing suggestions, and recipe recommendations.
Shepherd’s Way farmstead sheep cheeses are made by hand, on the farm, with milk from Shepherd’s Way pasture-based sheep. Jodi and Steven live and work on the farm, located an hour south of Minneapolis/St Paul next to the Big Woods State Park.
